Glendening is best known for his detailed landscapes, in particular those showing water and scenes from the Thames Valery, Wales and Scotland. His works are sought after by collectors within this very British tradition and he is an excellent example of the English landscape painter. Glendening lived in Greenwich, London and exhibited at The Royal Academy, The British Institute and at Suffolk Street.
