Buying Fine Art & Antiques
Nigel Rhodes has been guiding clients in the world of buying and collecting fine art and antiques for over thirty years.
With a wealth of contacts, knowledge and experience, we acquire works on behalf of clients, whether it is for small or large budgets, giving advice, discretion and a commitment to finding the work(s) they desire. We work with clients at all levels and with all budgets, often people have simply begun with one small piece and left it there or built and developed a collection as and when they could. We have established clients with whom we have been working for over twenty years, sourcing items and advising them on editing and growing their collections to make them the very best they can be. While some clients have simply wanted that notable, one off statement piece as a focus for their home.
With the contacts to find works that are being sold privately, Nigel Rhodes prides himself on keeping works out of the auction rooms therefore offering his clients the very best value their money can buy. Giving clients the opportunity to find and buy notable works and old masters and good quality smaller works through Private sales has earned Nigel a reputation of loyalty, honesty and discretion.

Selling Fine Art & Antiques
As well as holding stock in our London Gallery, we offer clients the option of selling their works or items on consignment or on a commission basis.
With our client's interests at heart and with expert knowledge and long term experience of the art & antiques markets we place items for sale in the most appropriate arena to receive maximum benefit to the seller. We specialise in placing client's works and items in to private collections rather than in to auction, giving a genuine and honest return for the seller; while helping to retain value and provenance through private sales makes for a very attractive proposition to any buyer.
