Stucco head of Buddha, Sukhothai Style, circa 15th-16th century, possible some restoration to the cheeks. Sukhothai art is considered the apogee of Thai art, although this sculpture is not Classic Sukhothai style. A beautifully simple sculpture of the head of Buddha, although antique it has a contemporary look to it because of its simplicity.
